Sheet Metal Fabrication Service Types

We have a team of skilled engineers and extensive experience in sheet metal fabrication to produce first-class parts at competitive prices. We can handle everything from small batch prototypes to large-scale production.

Laser Cutting

Laser cutting is precise and efficient, making it ideal for complex, high-quality designs with minimal waste. It cuts a wide variety of metals quickly, with clean, burr-free edges.

Bending

Bending sheet metal in straight lines using a press brake to achieve accurate angles and consistent dimensions is essential for both aesthetics and functionality.

Welding

Welding is a basic metal fabrication process used to join metal pieces securely. It involves melting the parent and filler materials to form a secure joint.

Punching

Punching is a cost-effective method of creating holes and intricate patterns in sheet metal. The process is ideal for high-volume production and ensures uniform precision.

Riveting

Riveting is a reliable fastening technique that joins metal parts without welding. It involves inserting and deforming rivets to assemble complex structures that cannot be welded.

Stamping

Stamping is the process of forcing metal into a die to efficiently create a specific shape. It allows for mass production of uniform parts and is widely used in the automotive industry for complex geometries.

What is Sheet Metal Fabrication?

Sheet metal processing is the process of applying comprehensive cold working to thin metal sheets (usually under 6mm). The sheet metal manufacturing process begins with the conceptualization and design and engineering stages of the desired product or component, and then the process of forming, cutting and alternately processing sheet metal to manufacture a variety of parts and products. The processes applied usually include blanking, bending, flanging, piercing, punching, embossing, stamping and stretching. If metal parts with complex geometries need to be produced, progressive stamping is required. Once the tooling is in place, it is very cost-effective to produce subsequent sheet parts. This makes sheet metal manufacturing and forming ideal for small to large-volume production. Additional secondary operations are used to finish the sheet metal parts.

Advantages of Sheet Metal Fabrication

Sheet metal fabrication processes are well suited for metal parts and can support both prototyping and production quantities.

  • High precision and consistency in custom parts can be achieved consistently with tight tolerances and complex designs during mass production.
  • Very cost-effective for high-volume projects due to streamlined processes such as stamping and punching.
  • Metal parts are inherently strong and can be enhanced with a variety of finishing processes.
  • Specific requirements can be easily met and a wide selection of materials and finishes is allowed.
